A fully equipped kitchen is provided, including dishwasher, refrigerator, and various cooking appliances. The kitchen and pantry contain all necessary utensils and flatware, in addition to spices, oil, and vinegar. The only thing you need to bring is food. There is a convenience store in Riverton, and a grocery store in Franklin, 15 miles distant.
Sleeping accomodations include one bedroom with a full sized bed, and a shared bathroom. The master bedroom contains a queen sized bed with a private bathroom. A sleeping porch can sleep up to three people with room for air mattresses, sleeping bags, etc.
There are full laundry facilities including washer/dryer, ironing board, and iron. Linens and towels are provided.
The living room contains a television, with Roku, music center, and gas fireplace.
The library/work space has books, games, wi-fi, and a connection to cell service.
The front porch has rocking chairs; the rear porch has a gas and electric grill, and table and chairs for outside dining. Fishing in the North Fork River is a short walk from The Little House.
And... Fresh home-baked goods are provided on each morning of your stay.

During your stay in Pendleton County, there are a variety of activities nearby or within a reasonable drive. Some of the variety in the area includes:
Seneca Rocks. Located just down the valley, the Forest Service maintains a Discovery Center and picnic area in the bottom land below the rocks. A hiking trail leads to an observation platform near the North Peak of the rocks. Fishing is available in the North Fork River. The community of Seneca Rocks contains Harper's and Yokum's general stores, and the Gendarme rock climbing shop.
Spruce Knob. At 4860' elevation, Spruce Knob is the highest point in West Virginia and the Allegheny Mountains. There is an observation tower on top and extensive hiking trails in the area. Spruce Knob Lake is nearby.
Seneca Caverns. Located just up the Germany Valley Road, this historic cavern offers daily tours lasting about one hour. Asbury's Restaurant is located next door.
To the south in Pocahontas County is the Cass Scenic Railroad State Park, featuring a rail excursion trip to Bald Knob, the third-highest point in West Virginia, pulled by a Shay gear-driven logging locomotive. Nearby is the Green Bank Telescope, the largest steerable radio telescope in the world.
To the northwest in Tucker County is Canaan Valley, the highest valley in the eastern US. It contains Canaan Valley State Park and three ski areas, Canaan Valley, Timberline Mountain, and White Grass. Nearby is Davis, the highest incorporated town in the eastern US; and Thomas, an historic railroad town. Between them is Blackwater Falls State Park. Both Davis and Thomas, West Virginia's "mountain towns", have a variety of gift shops and eating establishments. Located in Thomas is the Purple Fiddle, with live music weekly.
